Mezline for Home Care
Support the caregivers helping people live at home.
Home care is personal support in someone’s own home: help getting dressed, preparing a meal, moving safely, running errands, or having company during the day. For organizations that engage independent aides and caregivers, Mezline brings the contractor agreement, visit arrangements, submitted hours, and payment review into one workflow.

The contractor work your business depends on
Start with the person’s everyday needs.
Personal assistance
Aides may help with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and everyday mobility. Define the assistance the caregiver is qualified and engaged to provide, with the care coordinator responsible for care instructions and changes.
Meals and help around the home
Meal preparation, grocery shopping, laundry, and light housekeeping support the person receiving care. Describe those duties as part of the caregiver engagement, with clear arrangements for purchases and approved expenses.
Companionship and daily routines
Companionship, conversation, errands, and accompaniment to appointments can be part of home care. Record the visit arrangements and the coordinator to contact if a visit cannot take place.
A practical example
Coordinate a week of personal support at home.
A home care organization engages a caregiver to help an older adult with morning routines, lunch preparation, and companionship. The coordinator needs to know which visits took place and which submitted hours are ready for approval.
- 01
Prepare the caregiver engagement
Add the contractor to your subscription before onboarding. Collect the agreement, tax documents, and role-specific records your organization requires. Review the caregiver’s relevant experience and the scope they are qualified to perform.
- 02
Set out the visits
Record the visit dates, expected duration, contact arrangements, agreed services, and compensation terms. Identify the coordinator responsible for access problems or changes to the person’s support arrangements.
- 03
Address a changed visit
If the person is away from home or the visit ends early, the caregiver records the service exception and contacts the coordinator. Your team confirms the revised arrangements and reviews the actual time submitted.
- 04
Review hours and arrange payment
Compare the visit confirmation and submitted hours with the engagement. Resolve missing entries or unapproved purchases before approving time and expenses for the contractor invoice.
